Muddy fun!!

This past weekend, my family decided to do something different for fun. We decided to roll in the mud, literally!! Everyone (except for little Ollie) completed the Mudman race. We all had a blast running the race, mud stain faces and all!! It will definitely be on the calendar for next summer. We are gathering members for our team, anyone brave enough to join us?? :)

Spring has been a very busy time of year in our household. I am finishing my first semester of NP clinicals and the kids are busy doing everything that keeps them busy! Here are a few pictures!!

Claire's team is having an awesome season this year in softball. Claire has amazed me with her skills! She has even hit a homerun! There was one very special game that I captured on camera where Claire was the catcher and her dad was the umpire. Oh how I love them both :)

Another earthday run!

I had a fantastic time, even with the wind and the rain, running in the Earthday half marathon. While I didn't have time to train for the full half marathon this year, I completed the relay run with a friend of mine. It was fun running the first half of the run with my sister too. It was a great way to spend the day!!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas is such a magical time of year. I love watching my children's growing excitement in anticipation of Christmas morning. While the gifts and gatherings are wonderful, it is important to remember the real reason for the Christmas Season, Jesus! Thank you for coming to this earth to be born in humble settings to save the world!

Being a baby is tough!

Olivier continues to bless our family with smiles and laughter! Who wouldn't be tired after all of that hard work :)

Where does the time go?

I am always amazed at how fast time flies, especially when you have children. Children grow up in a blink of an eye and I just try to hold on to all of those special moments as best I can! Here are some pictures highlighting the summer!

Finally, a day out of the house :)

As you all know, Olivier arrived 6 weeks earlier than expected which has made for a very paranoid mother! I have kept him isolated in our house for the last couple of months and we all are going a bit stir crazy. I decided to treat the kids with a night away at a hotel and waterpark to beat our winter blues. We all had a blast and grandma Jeanne and grandpa Bill were able to come for a visit. Grandma got her baby fix holding Olivier which gave mom a chance to ride some water rides with the kids. It was a much needed break. We all had a great time!
